About our Staff : Midshipman Scott Sabin Royal Navy
Scott joined Dudley Sea Cadets shortly after his 12th Birthday in 2001. He then spent the next 6 years as a cadet, where he achieved the rank of Petty Officer Cadet and was on the first ever foreign exchange to Russia in 2005. Scott was also a member of the Sea Cadet National Shooting team, taking part in many competitions over the years, and winning many medals. On reaching his 18th birthday, Scott became a member of staff at TS Centaur, where he helped train the drill team and became a "jack of all trades". On the 28th April, Scott joined Britannia Royal Naval College as an Officer Cadet and passed out of the college on 18th December 2008. After doing his commoon fleet time onboard HMS ILLUSTRIOUS, Scott spent some time in Faslane as part of JTEPS and is now serving onboard HMS CHATHAM.
